Well, another interesting GA is history . . . except for the bill-paying, clean-up, and follow-up:)

I am posting links below to my blog posts from this week, all of which center around various aspects of GA.  The food was pretty good, the music was great, and aside from the heat and humidity (which reminded us of how powerless we are over the weather), all went pretty well, from this person's floor seat.  Not perfect . . . pretty well.

I would also invite anyone who has a fascination with Twitter to check out the tweets with the hashtag #GA11doc, both mine and others.    Also much of interest on the Facebook page for General Assembly.

As with most things involving many people, a variety of viewpoints and evaluations exist about the value and the outcomes of GA.  For some, GA is simply a chance to reconnect with friends and colleagues, for others, it is worship in a different place, and for some, GA is where the discernment process and the decision-making process hopefully come together.

How well  all this happened this week is "up for discussion and further review", as they say.

Me?  I'm cautiously hopeful that the denomination I love is moving with strong leadership in the right directions.

So here are my blog posts over at The Strategic Learner ~ in distinctly lay language and for an audience which is mostly non-Disciple;):

Road Trip . . .

A Movement for Wholeness . . .

A Little Bit About Being a Disciple . . .

Listening to a Story Telling Great . . .

Road Trip Redux . . .
