Years ago, I learned English (not my first language). Seasons are interestingly named in English. For example, take "spring". What's that about? Is it a time to be coiled up like a spring... or perhaps to "spring" into something (whatever might that be)?
That said, here we are at the start of the season of "fall". Fall into...? Fall for...?

So what is it exactly that's in "transit"?
A 'learner of English" posed some interesting questions a few days ago as I tried to describe what a "transitional minister" was. He shared that "trans" told him something was going somewhere. Maybe that something is the "it", as in "trans....it".

I've been thinking a lot about the word "intersection" lately. How many intersections can you think of in your life? There's where your "home self" meets your "public self", never mind the interface points between the different faces of your "public self".... Let's see...how about your public grocery store self and your driving in rush hour self (maybe better not to go there...!). Your "at work and/or school self" and your "church self"...

In Scripture, people waved palm branches to welcome Jesus to Jerusalem on His final arrival(Mark 11, Matthew 21, Luke 19, and John 12).
In addition, they laid their coats/outer garments on the road as sort of a “red carpet” welcome for Him. People in that day had one outer coat/cloak, so they were laying down an item of importance to be walked over by the donkey (think hooves, and road dirt, and perhaps donkey…well, let’s call it donkey “residue”, shall we?
