If you're looking to do a study of a book of the bible this year, may I suggest checking out my Participatory Study Guide for Ephesians.  It builds on the Lectio Divina method of reading scripture, includes background materials, study questions, prayers to begin and close, and my twist -- historical reflections.  I think you'll find it a very effective study.  Here is the link to the catalog page.

Disciples pastor Glen Miles said this about the book:

"Bob hopes that readers and users of this study will move toward “a more mature faith in God.” This is an extremely important task and Bob has met that goal with this insightful collections of studies. In a culture that is, as the now clichéd saying goes,“a mile wide and an inch deep,” it is imperative for preachers and teachers of the gospel to find engaging ways to invite the people in the pews to dive deeply into the ancient texts we call the Bible."

 So, check it out!

I'll buy one if at least one other person will join me in a Bible study group.  It is only $10.
