Thanks to the Energy Policy Act of 2005, we got an early jump on Daylight Savings Time yesterday (unless you live in that part of Indiana that defects to the Central Time Zone during the summer).  Have you recovered from "springing forward" yet?

If not, maybe some photos of the Earth's resurrection will help get you in the vernal mood.  A good photo walk to acknowledge the end of winter hibernation should do the trick to help you cope with the time change.  Go outside and take some pics of the signs you see of the coming season of spring.  Do you see daffodils, tulips, and croci (crocuses?) poking their stemmy arms out of the Earth?  Do you see buds starting to form on trees, waiting to douse your car in a haze of yellow pollen?  Maybe there's a baseball team dusting off their cleats and gloves and preparing for the start of the season.  Maybe there's still small pockets of snow begrudgingly refusing to melt in shadow.  Sprinkle some bird seed on the snow and wait to see who shows up.

Upload your best photos from your walk and tag them "spring".  Of course, you can also post photos from years past, but you won't get the benefit of a late winter stroll to walk off the DST doldrums.  We'll gather photos until Easter, then feature them in a slide show on the Intersection home page.
